Job Title Inventory Control Clerk

The Purchasing Department is responsible for the cost-effective and expeditious procurement of goods and services to support the scientific and administrative endeavors of the Rockefeller University. The Rockefeller University Purchasing Department, along with the Receiving and Stockroom Departments, help ensure that equipment, supply and service needs of the University are accomplished in a professional manner that also adheres to all legal requirements and best business practices.
Oversee document retention and order processing for the Stockroom transactions. Provide data entry and interpretation support for special projects. Will process inventory control, receiving data, and returns and credits for the stockroom, place orders and maintain oversight on inventory control of the stockroom, and process returns to vendors on stockroom items.
Bachelor's Degree required. Must have excellent customer services skills, verbal and written communication skills. Strong Microsoft Suite skills, and data entry. Must be flexible for special assignments as per instruction of the Associate Director and/or the Chief Procurement Officer.
